Woodworking has been a passion in my family since 1861, when my great great grandfather moved from Germany.  He was the head carver at the Barney & Smith Car Co.; carving the decorative insides of train cars.

My father had the same business when I was growing up in Ohio.  I moved to California, and in 1990 George Case was ready to retire and he offered the business to me.

Working with my dad as a kid growing up in Ohio has provided me with lots of experience.  Moving to California in 1976 has put me on a similar path. I love what I do. I can't wait to get to work everyday to see what my next challange will be!
