Meet the Owner: Paul Kronauge

Woodworking has been a passion in my family since 1861 when my great great grandfather moved from Germany. He was the head carver at the Barney & Smith Car Co., carving the decorative insides of train cars. Working with my dad as a kid growing up in Ohio has provided me with lots of experience and moving to California in 1976 has put me on a similar path. My father had the same business when I was growing up in Ohio. I moved to California and in 1990, George Case, the previous owner of Case Furniture, was ready to retire and offered the business to me. I love what I do.
